TACHI-S Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yuichiro Yamamoto, Headquarters: Ome City, Tokyo) celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2024. To commemorate this milestone, 70th-anniversary ceremonys were held on October 5th at Forest Inn Showakan (Akishima City, Tokyo) and on October 19th at Hotel Grand Tiara Minami-Nagoya (Anjo City, Aichi). A total of approximately 600 TACHI-S executives, employees, and alumni attended the ceremonies.
During the ceremony, President Yamamoto expressed his gratitude to those who have supported the company’s 70-year history, looked back on the major changes in the business environment surrounding the company over the past decade, and expressed his strong will that "I believe that we have reached this day because our predecessors and current employees have responded appropriately to changes in the times and continued to be selected by customers by providing the value they desired. We will create the next 10, 20, and 30 years together in the spirit of 'Mutual Respect And Cooperation'* that we value. I believe this is the power that will enable us to become a 100-year-old company. Let's create the future together."
TACHI-S was established in 1954 as “Tachikawa Spring Co., Ltd.” to handle spring parts necessary for assembling automobile seats. In 1986, the company changed its name to “TACHI-S Co., Ltd.” and has since been engaged in the development and manufacturing of automobile seats, serving customers both domestically and internationally as a comprehensive automotive seat manufacturer.
