TACHI-S Brasil awarded for “Preparing Tomorrow Project” from the Municipality of Resende

 TACHI-S Brasil Industria de Assentos Automotivos Ltda. (President: Luis Soria, hereinafter TSB), which is a subsidiary in Brazil of TACHI-S Co., Ltd. (President, CEO&COO: Yuichiro Yamamoto, Headquarters: Ome, Tokyo) received the Motion of Commendation Award for “Preparing Tomorrow Project” for Social Project.

 The award, granted on March 27, 2025, to the TSB plant in Resende by the Resende City Council, highlights TACHI-S Group's commitment to social responsibility and the training of next-generation professionals.

 The job preparation program, “Preparing Tomorrow Project“, originally arose from Tachi-s Brasil’s strong desire to generate a positive impact and social responsibility in the local community through the volunteer work of TSB employees. Then the project officially began in 2023, in partnership with the Antonina Ramos Feire State School.

 The objective of the project is to help high school seniors prepare for their jobs and the project comprises of theoretical and practical classes, lectures, and group dynamics to reflect on job placement, support in developing resumes, and job interview simulation.
 As a result, some students who completed the program were successfully hired by local companies in the region and four of them joined Tachi-s plant in Resende.

 So far, a total of 56 students graduated the program (28 each in 2023 and 2024), gaining awareness on topics in a wide range of subjects including IT, industrial safety, manufacturing, quality, process engineering, logistics, maintenance, production control (materials), purchasing, and human resources.

 This project is to be continued in FY2025 at TSB, promoting the initiative for the future of young people and the community.
